Beautiful leather bound, gold embossed edges, published by The Century Co., New York 1908.
The binding is frayed and there are some tears at both ends of the spine. One of the blank pages an inscription is written " from Horace, 1908. The pages are modestly tanned, due to age. The book contains 130 pages of beautifully written words with such sonnets as, Ode To a Nightingale.

A Kentucky Colonel by Opie P. Read was published by F.J. Schulte & Comapny Publishers, 1891.

This hardcopy book has a loose binding and a few pages have come loose. The pages are slightly tanned, due to aging. There is a stamp on a blank page with the words Ernst Teofil Skarstedt Collection and on the adjoining page another stamp which reads trade this book.

A few years ago a co-worker of mine gave me this book because she was cleaning out her collection. I adore this book and have read it twice, but it's time to pass it on. Read More about this book.
